Please notice that the only available language of the newest u600 scanner 2.0 (hardware version) is English and if you want to change its language, please let us know instead of downloading language package from the official website.

This is because the language provided by the official website is of older version and would not work on the latest u600 vw obdii scanner, and may even damage the tool. Where to find serial number of your SVDI

The other day, a customer inquired me where can he find the serial number of his SVDI VAG Command. Serial numbers are needed for almost all software, especially for after service of the tool. Below are 3 steps to know the serial number of your SVDI.


Step 1: Start up your "SVDI Update v1.0.4" software by clicking its icon.


Step 2: Click "Device Info", and then you will see three options: Device SN, Firmware version and Authorizations on Server: TAG and VAG. Device SN means the serial number of the device.


Step 3: Right click the device SN and the software will provide the serial number. You can either write down the number or save it in your computer.

What's the difference between SVDI, FVDI and VVDI?

You do not need to activate SVDI when diagnosing VAG cars, but when you are going to use it on BMW cars, you will need to avtivate it.
