What's the difference between SVDI, FVDI and VVDI?

If you are an auto mechanic or have a VW, you must have ever heard about some VW diagnostic tools. Among all the tools, SVDI, FVDI and VVDI are the three most famous devices. Although these three tools are similar in names, they are actually different tools.
It is undeniable that these tools are similar in many ways. For example, they share functions such as mileage correction, car key programming, trouble code reading and OBD2 system diagnosing. They actually do not share the same vehicle and language support.
A. Vehicle support
Apart from VW cars, such as VW, Audi, Skoda and Seat, SVDI also support diagnosing with BMW vehicles, while FVDI only support diagnosing, car key programming and code reading with Volkswagen cars and VVDI only support that with VW, Audi and BMW. Besides, SVDI can also carry out diagnosing on trucks.
B. Language support

SVDI supported languages:
1) Languages available in VW, Audi, Skoda, Seat software: English, Simplified Chinese, Germany, Spanish, French, Russian, Italian, Danish, Czech and Bulgarian;
2) Language available in TAG key tool software: English;
3) Language available in BMW Commander software: English.
FVDI supports languages:
Languages for VAG vehicles: English, Germany, Spanish, French, Russian, Italian, Danish, Czech, Chinese and Bulgarian.
VVDI supports languages:
1) Language available in VW software: English, Germany, Spanish, French, Russian, Italian, Danish, Czech, etc;
2) Languages available in BMW software: Chinese and English.
You do not need to activate SVDI when diagnosing VAG cars, but when you are going to use it on BMW cars, you will need to avtivate it. Please give us your serial number and then we will help you activate it. SVDI is mainly used to diagnose auto systems, program car keys, read pin code and adjust mileage.
Besides, their upgrading methods are also different. If you want to update your FVDI, please delivery its main unit to us and we will upgrade it for you. You can upgrad SVDI and VVDI yourself. Please give us your serial number, and we will send you the updating package.
