Review on Volvo VCADS Pro 2.40 Software Installation

I owned a Volvo FH 16. Like many other car owners, I also meet Volvo VCADS Pro 2.40 software installation problem. I bought one from China and the dealer offered me the solutions. I am glad to share my experience to those who are eager to solve this problem.

I met the following questions and solutions are followed, wish it helps you!
1. When you install the Volvo VCADS Pro 2.40 software, after put in the user name and password, show error: "This user is not authorized to run this soft on this PC. Contact your local administrator."
Solution: Please open the .txt file "How to use" and copy the ID number to the blank box under "User ID", input nothing after "Password", click "connectivity options" and tick before "Work offline", finally click "OK". For more details, please watch the video demo in the CD.



2. You may also meet Volvo VCADS Pro 2.40 "ERROR 10104Communication problem with control unit or vehicle, No connection through the USB cable at all.", how to solve?

Solution:

3. Volvo VCADS has no USB cable, how to connect with the car?
Solution: Volvo VCADS Pro 2.40 truck diagnostic tool has no USB cable, but it has COM cable. Please input the computer COM port and communicate with the computer. Your computer need have COM port, or using USB to Com port adapter (RS 232).
4. To install, run the iso file virtually with daemon tools or just burn it to a CD (virtually is quicker).
NOTE: Make sure your computer system is Windows XP Professional and then install IIS.

I planned on selling my 10 year-old car in order to purchase an automatic washing machine for my wife to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I decided to lower the mileage for a better price. How to Delete Vehicle Software in Tuirel S777?

Step1: Connect Tuirel S777 with your PC and do not turn on your tool.
