What You Should Know When You Use Toyota Intelligent Diagnostic Tester-2

Last weekend, I ordered a hand-held Toyota Intelligent Diagnostic Tester-2 from a obd2 shop for US$313.00. To my surprise, Toyota DST-2 came at my door 4 days later via DHL. When I opened the package, the first impression was "Great, I get the right one".

I know that Toyota Denso Tester II is specially designed for Toyota, Lexus and Suzuki, which enable to diagnose control system for engine, ABS and airbag through CAN-diagnosis communication. So, I decided to have a test on my Toyota and turned out to be perfect operation on my car.
While Toyota Denso Tester II supports not only what I tested before, but also has any other function, such as read code, clear code, data flow, action testing and guard against theft immobilizer. And this time, it tested on my friend' s Lexus. Easy operation on LCE display and CAN communication which realizes more accurate diagnosis and high-speed operation are greatly beneficial to car diagnosis.
Finally, I want to share you with some of the problem you may encounter during the process of usage:
1. Toyota intelligent tester IT2 can program key but cannot read smart key information.
2. Toyota IT2 is with CF card, there is a CF card slot at the back of Toyota IT2 main unit. When you use the main unit, please do not take it off, CF card is used to store the tested result. Please refer "Toyota ITS2 Names of the Parts".
3. Toyota IT2 can do airbag coding and simple ecu programming.
