My husband just had a Vivaro 2002. He was badly in need of a auto diagnostic tool for the car. My father got him an OP-Com 2010 V Opel Firmware V1.45 diagnostic tool. The package came at my door yesterday. He told secretly it was a clone one. I was afraid my old father was being knocked off. Big surprise! He already knew it was clone. He ordered one for himself four months ago in an OBD2 scanner dealer aobd2shop for only US$23 without shipping fee.
We were shocked how can that cheap. He did some research work before purchasing the unit. He found the gadget on ebay seemed to be about US$ 40,and US$100 from other shops for some reason. He had no idea whether they are original or not. At beginning he was upset when received the clone one. Soon he was cheerful after the unit worked successfully on his Tigra 1996. Knowing I just own a Vivaro, he cannot wait get me one because Op-com covers almost all opel cars.
My clone one came with the software version 2010.08 and firmware version 1.45. My father warned us that the unit should be only worked on Windows XP system. When run the software and programming, any anti-virus system must be closed. Otherwise the software would be damaged. So far, it can project perfectly basic diagnostic for my car.
If clone can do exactly what original one do, than why have to pay more than 10 prices to get a original one.I like OP-Com 2010 V Opel Firmware V1.45 diagnostic tool.
