Packaging: The tool arrived with nice packaging. The package included a DS708 main unit, an instruction paper, a CD, an adapter and others just as the supplier claimed.

System requirement and use: The MaxiDAS DS708 requires a PC that runs in Windows XP mode. Otherwise, it would not work properly. I have tested it on a BMW, two Honda, a VW, a Land Rover, three Toyota. The tool really worked.

What are the instructions of Tacho pro plus programming EEPROM?

As a matter of fact, programming or mileage correction with tacho pro plus is required with skills. But some users are not how to do. For example, DO NOT knows how to program EEPROM. Therefore, here I am sharing with you programming EEPROM instructions.

Tips: 1. Ensure the EEPROM is clean and no paint or wax on it
2. Must join all oscillators (crystals) on the board together.
Steps:
1. Put the clip on the EEPROM, with the red mark on pin 1.
2. Put the correct adapter-board in port 3 of the handheld.

3. Power the handheld by port 1.
4. Join the other end of the clip to the 8 pin port on the adapter-board with the red cable on the pin 1 mark.

5. Select the car model and the method clip on the main menu.
6. Press OK, TACHO PRO reads the EEPROM and enters to the EEPROM menu.
7. The current mileage shows in the right upper corner. Small variations are ok. If the displayed value is good, save all data with the menu SAVE.
8. On the KM adjustment menu, put in the new value, and the Tacho 2008 will verify the successful programming.
9. Now carefully remove the clip from the EEPROM and remove the connections from the crystals.
